The following terms regulate the use of my website and the products I offer as a photographer. This online platform is managed by Jerre Pictures. If you do not agree with these terms, I kindly request you not to use my services.
Copyright and Use of Photos
All products presented on my website are subject to copyright and remain the exclusive property of Jerre Pictures.
When using my photos in the press, it is mandatory to credit my name ‘JerrePictures.be’. If there is a desire to use my photos in commercial media, I request that you contact me to establish an appropriate arrangement. If the photos are used commercially through intermediaries such as media houses or PR services that have hired me, it remains mandatory at all times to credit my name ‘JerrePictures.be’. In the event that these intermediaries have unlawfully distributed the photos, I retain the right to request the removal of the photos or reach an amicable settlement. For non-commercial media, written permission from Jerre Pictures is required before the photos can be used. This also applies to situations where content is obtained through other media agencies that you have engaged or consulted (generally, they have my permission, but it is mandatory to credit my name ‘JerrePictures.be’).
Enforceability
These terms of use are enforceable as legally permitted. Any violation of these terms may lead to legal action to protect my copyright

General terms and conditions for booking and or using photography services (e.g. events)
1. Definitions
In these general terms and conditions, the following terms have the following meanings:
- Photographer: Jerre Pictures or Eventure.Lab
- Client: the natural person or legal entity that gives a photography assignment to the photographer
- Assignment: the agreement between the photographer and the client, whereby the photographer undertakes to take photographs against payment
- Cancellation: the termination of the assignment by the client
2. Applicability
These general terms and conditions apply to all photography assignments by the photographer, unless otherwise expressly agreed.
3. Quote
The photographer will send the client a quote stating the price, duration, and scope of the assignment. The quote is non-binding and may be modified or withdrawn by the photographer without prior notice.
4. Assignment
The assignment is entered into upon receipt of a deposit from the client. The photographer is only bound to the assignment once the deposit has been received. Or when a booking confirmation is send.
5. Cancellation
The client may cancel the assignment up to 10 days before the date of the assignment. In that case, the deposit will be refunded.
Cancellation between 10 days and 2 days before the date of the assignment:
- The client pays 50% of the original price.
- In case of a discount, this discount may not be deducted.
Cancellation within 2 days before the date of the assignment:
- The client pays the full amount.
6. Price
The price of the assignment is inclusive of VAT. Travel costs are charged separately.
7. Payment
The client will pay the photographer’s invoice within 14 days of the invoice date.
8. Copyright
The photographs are the property of the photographer. The client is granted the right to use the photographs for personal purposes. For commercial purposes, the photographer’s permission is required. In the case of a commercial shoot, the permission is already built into the metadata of the pictures. For a clear explanation, read the section ‘Copyright and use of photos’ (above).
9. Complaints
Complaints about the photographs must be submitted to the photographer in writing within 14 days of receipt of the photographs.
10. Force majeure
In case of force majeure, the photographer is entitled to cancel or reschedule the assignment. In that case, the photographer is not liable for any damages.
11. Amendment of general terms and conditions
The photographer is entitled to amend these general terms and conditions. Amendments will be notified to the client in writing.
12. Applicable law
Belgium law applies to these general terms and conditions and the assignment.
13. Disputes
Disputes between the photographer and the client will be exclusively settled by the competent court in the district where the photographer is located.
Closing provisions
If the terms and conditions change during a booking, I will inform the client of this.
Sales Conditions
By proceeding through the steps in the purchasing process, you agree to pay the full price for the products you purchase, including any taxes and additional costs such as shipping fees. You are responsible for timely payment and selecting a valid payment method as suggested on my website.
Listed prices and other forms of communication, such as digital brochures and email campaigns, are not legally binding outside of invoices. Prices are subject to change at any time. Refunds or price guarantees are not provided for price reductions or discounts implemented after your purchase has been made.
Jerre Pictures reserves the right to refuse orders and/or request alternative payment methods if an order is considered fraudulent. All delivered products remain the property of Jerre Pictures until full payment is received.
Right of Withdrawal
You have the legal right to withdraw your purchase of goods or services within 14 working days, except for printed materials which cannot be withdrawn. Please note that returns of customized products may be denied.
Shipping and Delivery
Shipping costs and times vary depending on the shipping method, the ordered product, and the availability of stock.
